Job summary

Datadog is seeking an experienced sourcing leader to own the AI spend category end‑to‑end, including foundation models, AI APIs, and AI SaaS. You will negotiate high‑value agreements and build pricing models while partnering with Engineering and Finance to translate consumption into commercial savings.

You will work with senior technology leaders in a hybrid Datadog environment, driving FinOps discipline and scalable sourcing workflows across a fast‑moving spend base.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement with strategic sourcing ownership.
• Experience negotiating AI software, APIs, and SaaS
• Ability to present savings and business cases to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own AI spend category end‑to‑end, including foundation‑model and AI APIs.
• Lead high‑value vendor negotiations and pricing structures.
• Partner with Engineering and Finance to build business cases and forecasts.
• Track KPIs, market trends, and report to leadership.
