Job summary

FIS is seeking a Sr. Lead for the Revenue Connect team to design, build, and operate core distributed services. You’ll drive AI-powered features, shape component architecture, and mentor engineers as we scale to hundreds of financial institutions.

In 2026, AI will be embedded across the product, including anomaly detection and pricing optimization. You will implement these capabilities, ensure safe model usage, and upskill the team in AI-driven engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS or equivalent; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience shipping AI-enabled features in production.
• Proficiency in Java or similar modern framework/lameworks.
• Experience leading projects from architecture to production with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex requirements into clean, scalable code.
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems.
• Implement AI-powered capabilities with product and principal engineers.
• Optimize algorithms, data usage, and cloud services for latency and cost.
• Write tests, ensure observability, and manage deployments.
• Provide on-call production support and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
