Job summary
FIS seeks an experienced software engineering leader to drive development of agentic AI platforms that enhance the enterprise software lifecycle. You will guide delivery of coding agents, developer harnesses, libraries and Model Context Protocol integrations while mentoring engineers who collaborate with internal FIS teams.
You will balance people leadership with technical direction and operational execution, partnering with product, implementation and client-facing groups to accelerate adoption
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading software engineers in an agile environment.
- Strong software engineering knowledge across architecture, development, testing, integration and production support.
- Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, or similar languages used to build modern platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop software engineers across multiple career levels and disciplines.
- Establish team priorities, delivery plans and success metrics aligned with enterprise technology goals.
- Guide architecture of scalable agentic workflows, coding harnesses, reusable libraries and developer platforms.
- Oversee solutions using Python, TypeScript, cloud technologies and Model Context Protocol integrations.
- Ensure coding agents and automated workflows meet security, quality and reliability standards.
- Foster disciplined engineering practices including design reviews, code reviews and automated testing.
