Job summary

McGuireWoods LLP is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the IT team. The role focuses on analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of internally developed software systems.

The candidate will leverage AI-assisted tools and the Microsoft stack (including .NET and SQL Server) to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on development experience and strong communication skills to

Qualifications

Five years of professional software development experience.
Experience with AI-enabled or generative AI solutions.
Proficiency with .NET, C#, SQL Server, and web technologies.
Experience with Azure DevOps, SSMS, and Visual Studio.
Knowledge of secure coding and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

Contributes to planning, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of major software systems.
Designs, develops, maintains and tests web-based, desktop and cloud-based solutions for internal needs.
Develops and maintains integrations between Firm applications and third-party services.
Works with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Evaluates AI-assisted development tools and platforms to improve productivity and quality.
