Job summary

McGuireWoods LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, build and deploy secure, scalable software solutions. You will work on AI-enabled platforms, cloud integrations, and Microsoft stack technologies, partnering with business stakeholders across the Firm.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of hands-on development, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications with secure coding practices. Hybrid remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years professional software development experience.
• Proven experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting software and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled or generative AI solutions.
• Proficiency with .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript/CSS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365/Office integrations and AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong communication to translate business needs to technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to planning, development, integration and deployment of major software systems.
• Designs and tests web-based, desktop and cloud solutions.
• Develops integrations between Firm applications using APIs and services.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Leads technical initiatives and guides other developers as needed.
• Evaluates AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and quality.
