Job summary

McGuireWoods LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our IT team in Texas. The role focuses on analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of internal software systems, leveraging the Microsoft stack and AI-enabled tools.

Collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams is essential to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on development experience, solid knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of five years of professional software development experience.
Hands-on experience with AI-enabled or generative AI solutions.
Proficiency with .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, and Microsoft stack.
Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, database design and queries.
Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot major software systems.
Build web-based, desktop and cloud solutions to support internal business needs.
Develop integrations using APIs and data interfaces.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Lead projects and provide guidance to other developers.
