Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) is seeking a Service Designer to drive AI-enabled transformation across the enterprise. You will shape future state services, journeys, and interaction models in collaboration with Transformation Discovery Leads, Product Management, and Engineering.

Lead workshops, map end-to-end experiences for customers, employees, and providers, and create artifacts communicating the target state while preserving usability and business value.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree requirement or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of service design, customer experience, business transformation, or related work.
• Experience mapping and end-to-end journey design for customers, employees, providers, or operations.
• Proficiency in journey mapping, service blueprinting, and human-centered design.
• Experience facilitating workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong visual thinking and storytelling to translate concepts into artifacts.
• Expertise in enterprise AI, intelligent automation, workflow orchestration, and digital experience platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead service design and testing activities for transformation initiatives; document current and future state experiences.
• Translate opportunities into future state service concepts, interaction models, and journey designs.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for innovation.
• Develop journey maps, service blueprints, experience flows, and ecosystem maps of future state services.
• Design future state interactions among employees, customers, providers, AI agents, and digital tools.
• Define service experiences and workflows leveraging emerging technologies while ensuring usability and trust.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to align designs with solution capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce friction and increase value across the journey.
• Validate future state concepts with stakeholders and ensure alignment with needs and compliance.
