Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is seeking an AI Solution Architect to design and implement architectural components for AI agents within the Bluefield framework. You will collaborate with Generative AI Engineers to translate guidelines into deployable systems and act as a technical evangelist through internal and external talks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10–12 years of experience as a solution architect in cloud technologies.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.
• 5+ years of implementation experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and MLOps on cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and NLP.
• Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading project teams.
• Experience leading design and architecture reviews to ensure scalable, secure solutions.
• Experience designing multi-agent architectures with ADK.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Implementation: Design detailed technical solutions for AI agents within the Bluefield framework.
• Technical Guideline Adherence: Ensure coding standards, security protocols, and best practices are followed.
• Platform Optimization: Optimize Google Agent Space and Google Cloud Platform services for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Component Development & Reusability: Build reusable agentic components, libraries, and services.
• Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex architectural challenges faced by Generative AI Engineers.
• System Integration: Oversee integration of new agents with enterprise systems and external APIs.
• POCs & Prototyping: Lead technical POCs for new agentic capabilities.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for architectures and deployment configurations.
• Technical Review & Quality Assurance: Participate in reviews to ensure quality and scalability.
• Mentorship: Guide Generative AI Engineers in implementing architectural principles.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
