Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• Strong expertise with AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python across multiple projects.
• Hands-on with agentic AI solutions and production LLM integrations.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production apps and managing costs/latency.
• Ability to design APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience operating production platforms with observability and reliability practices.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Willingness to learn new technologies as platforms evolve.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of secure, cloud-native platform services on AWS (IAM, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, S3, CloudFormation).
• Integrate security tools into SDLC pipelines, onboard scanners, normalize findings, and translate results into security controls.
• Partner on technical direction for AI scanning capabilities and the AppSec AI Harness through production readiness.
• Design integration patterns between AI capabilities and security orchestration, including ingestion and validation of AI remediation.
• Collaborate with architects to align AI capabilities with platform architecture and engineering standards.
• Serve as a technical SME for AI-enabled application security; promote secure development practices (SAST, SCA, container security, API testing).
• Build APIs, event-driven integrations, automation services, and CI/CD capabilities for scalable security testing.
• Improve orchestration platform reliability and AI capabilities via automation and observability.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical direction; manage risks and deliver business-critical AI-enabled security solutions.
