Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on vulnerability research, offensive security, or application security across complex software or production systems.
• Experience designing targets, forming hypotheses, and proving exploitability and impact.
• Competence with AI-driven research workflows, model selection, and reproducibility considerations.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI to conduct vulnerability research across Zoom's products, applications, services, and infrastructure, focusing on high-impact issues and validated exploitability.
• Use target knowledge, threat analysis, and architecture understanding to guide investigations.
• Apply AI tools across reconnaissance, code analysis, hypothesis generation, exploit development, and verification.
• Design research harnesses giving models proper context, tools, and environments for real targets.
• Develop custom tooling and proofs of concept to answer research questions.
• Translate model output into defensible security evidence, reproducing findings and distinguishing weaknesses from exploits.
• Improve AI-driven research reliability by addressing false positives/negatives and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Security to communicate findings and verify fixes.
• Share techniques and lessons learned to enhance security processes with AI.
