This role emphasizes hands-on research, hypothesis testing, and translating results into actionable security improvements. You will collaborate with Security Assurance teams and have a high degree of autonomy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on vulnerability research or offensive security experience.
• Experience with AI-driven research processes and threat modeling.
• Strong programming and debugging skills to build research tooling.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI to conduct vulnerability research across Zoom's products, services, and infrastructure.
• Use targets, threat analysis, and architecture knowledge to guide investigations.
• Apply AI capabilities across the research lifecycle: reconnaissance, code analysis, hypothesis generation, exploit development, verification.
• Design and tune research harnesses to give models proper context and tools.
• Develop custom tooling and exploits when needed to answer the research question.
• Translate model output into defensible security evidence and verify findings.
