Job summary

Zoom is seeking an experienced security researcher focused on offensive security and applied AI. You will surface critical risks across Zoom's products, services, and infrastructure, using advanced models to hypothesize, test exploitability, and map attack paths beyond traditional testing.

You will collaborate with Security Assurance teams and produce demonstrable evidence to influence risk understanding and remediation strategies across complex software systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on vulnerability research, offensive security, application security, or penetration testing.
• Hands‑on experience with frontier and open‑weight models in offensive workflows.
• Experience assessing AI‑driven research quality, reproducibility, and false positives.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI to conduct vulnerability research across Zoom's products and infrastructure, focusing on high‑impact issues and verified exploitability.
• Use targets, threat analysis, and architecture knowledge to guide investigations.
• Apply AI tools across reconnaissance, code analysis, hypothesis generation, exploit development, and verification.
• Design and tune research harnesses to give models proper context, tools, and feedback.
• Develop custom tooling and proof of concepts to answer research questions when helpful.
• Translate model outputs into defensible evidence by reproducing findings and ruling out false claims.
• Improve AI research reliability by addressing false positives, false negatives, and nondeterminism.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Security to communicate findings and support remediation.
• Share tools and lessons learned to scale AI‑driven security research.
