Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on vulnerability research, offensive security, or similar.
• Experience with model-assisted research and exploit development.
• Ability to assess exploitability and impact in complex systems.
• Strong programming/debugging skills and code tracing abilities.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Attention to false positives, reproducibility, and results validation.
• Deep technical expertise in security domains such as web apps, cloud, or OS.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI to conduct vulnerability research across Zoom's products and infrastructure.
• Use evidence-based methods to identify high-impact issues and attack paths.
• Apply AI capabilities across reconnaissance, code analysis, hypothesis generation, and verification.
• Design research harnesses with proper context, tools, and feedback loops.
• Develop custom tooling and exploits when needed to answer research questions.
• Convert model output into defensible security evidence and reproducible findings.
• Improve AI-driven research reliability by reducing false positives/negatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Security to communicate findings and verify fixes.
• Share tools and lessons learned across Security Assurance and the broader org.
