Litem is building the future of legal tech. We’re an early-stage startup seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with the CTO, shipping industry-defining features at startup speed. You’ll join a team of ex-Big Tech engineers driving AI-powered deposition tooling and scalable infrastructure.

Based in Bellevue or fully remote, you’ll help lead product decisions, collaborate with customers, and influence technical direction as we grow with equity and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience shipping serious products end-to-end.
• Experience with front-end and back-end development (React/NextJS and NestJS).
• Comfortable working with LLMs, RAG pipelines and AI agents.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and communicates effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Passionate about building user-centered solutions that solve real problems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build front-end and back-end systems with AI features.
• Develop and integrate AI components, including models and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with customers and founders to prioritize features and align technical work with business goals.
• Influence technical direction, frameworks, infrastructure, and scalability.
• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and iterate on the product.
