Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Expertise in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C#, or C++, and delivery in a second language.
• Experience with backend services, API design, React, data modeling, and cloud deployment.
• Ability to ramp up quickly in unfamiliar codebases and deliver code with minimal onboarding.
• Strong written communication and ability to explain complex technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack applications, services, and internal tools in Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, or TypeScript that exercise model capabilities end to end.
• Integrate pre-release model APIs into working software, including tool interfaces, evaluation harnesses, and telemetry.
• Identify and document model and integration failure modes, communicating clear written feedback to research teams.
• Rapidly prototype against evolving requirements and deliver working increments with limited up-front specification.
• Collaborate with the engineering manager and other engineers to maintain code quality, architectural consistency, and technical documentation.
