Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a software engineer to build and stress-test production software on frontier large language models, working with an AI lab engineering manager and rapidly onboarding to unfamiliar codebases to deliver working code early.

Responsibilities include building full-stack apps in Python/Java/Rust/C#/C++, integrating model APIs, and documenting findings, while collaborating on architecture and technical docs. This is a US-based, full-time role with hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production software experience at a top-tier org.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages listed.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with backend services and React frontend.
• Strong written communication for documenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack applications, services, and tools end-to-end.
• Integrate pre-release model APIs into functional software and telemetry.
• Identify, diagnose, and document model and integration failure modes.
• Prototype rapidly against changing requirements with minimal specs.
• Collaborate with engineering manager and engineers on code quality and docs.
