Job summary

Serko is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own end-to-end development of next-gen AI products for candidates in Washington or California. You will bridge frontend and backend using React/Next.js and Python/Node.js, integrating LLM APIs to craft real-time AI-powered features.

The role emphasizes building scalable REST/GraphQL APIs, collaborating with designers, product managers, and ML engineers, and contributing to a resilient, test-focused codebase with CI/CD and Docker in a cloud

Qualifications

• Experience building full-stack applications with AI features.
• Strong TypeScript (React/Next.js) frontend and Python/SQL backend.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI-powered features.
• RESTful API design and databases (PostgreSQL/Redis).
• Real-time UX with streaming (SSE/WebSockets).
• CI/CD familiarity and containerization with Docker.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful AI-powered user experiences with cross-functional teams.
• Bridge frontend and backend using React/Next.js and Python/Node.js.
• Integrate AI capabilities and LLM APIs into product features.
• Design and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs for data and sessions.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality.
• Participate in on-call rotation and operational improvements.
