Job summary

Ampcus Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist / AI Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-powered analytics and application platforms in a hybrid setup.

You will blend data science with modern frontend and backend development (React/Next.js/Svelte + Node.js) and ship end-to-end AI-enabled applications for customers. Qualifications

• 8–15 years of professional experience spanning data science and full-stack software development.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more modern UI frameworks (React.js, Next.js, Svelte).
• Strong backend experience with Node.js (or FastAPI/Python).
• Advanced SQL and strong Python for data processing and analysis.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and vector search.
• Experience with state management, build tools, and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RAG pipelines, vector search, and semantic query systems using LLMs.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and improve AI output accuracy and relevance.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into customer-facing UI for smarter user experiences.
• Develop and maintain SQL and Python logic for data processing and analysis.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality and performance.
• Architect, build, and scale the front-end using React.js, Next.js, or Svelte.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js or FastAPI.
• Design dashboards and visualizations with filtering, saved views, and exports.
• Deliver iteratively using Agile/SAFe and maintain architecture documentation.
