Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an AI-Centric Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and support modern AI-enabled applications and automated workflows. You will tackle end-to-end development, from system design to deployment and observability, with a focus on AI agents and MCP-based integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience developing production-grade full stack or backend software applications, including API design and data persistence.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and storage architecture.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-enabled applications, including custom AI agents and RAG-based systems.
• Demonstrated experience with prompt engineering and AI tool integration, and evaluating AI reliability, security, and failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full stack applications and platform services.
• Develop and implement custom AI agents to support workflow automation and decision support.
• Integrate AI services, LLMs, embeddings, search, and tools via secure APIs.
• Build MCP-based integrations for structured communication between AI models, tools, and business systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.
• Apply AI-assisted development practices ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Harden AI components for 24x7 manufacturing systems with reliability and observability.
