Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and evolve AI-enabled enterprise applications in a Reston, VA environment. You will translate business challenges into scalable production solutions and collaborate with Cloud, Data, and Integration teams to ensure secure, compliant delivery.

Requires 6+ years of full‑stack experience, TypeScript/Node.js and Python, Azure or AWS, and familiarity with Key Vault and managed identities.

Qualifications

6+ years of software engineering or solutions engineering experience.
1+ year with agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development.
Full-stack development experience across modern architectures.
Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, code, support, and evolve AI-enabled enterprise applications and business solutions.
Use agentic coding and AI-assisted development to design, build, test, and evolve enterprise solutions.
Translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable, production-ready applications and automation solutions.
Establish engineering patterns for AI-enabled application development, delivery, and support.
Drive technical solution architecture, implementation, and continuous enhancement.
Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Integration, and Data teams.
