Job summary

IoT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join the Developer Experience team, building an AI-enabled software factory that moves code from pull request to production. You will help scale CI/CD, extend AI-assisted deployments, and improve reliability across the SDLC.

The role focuses on designing AI-native workflows, reducing toil, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade automation at scale. Remote US-based candidates welcomed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and building software in a team.
• 3+ years in developer experience, CI/CD or platform engineering.
• Experience building AI workflows and orchestration systems.
• Proven track record architecting CI/CD and deployment platforms.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise software and DevEx.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP or equivalent.
• Experience implementing AI-driven automation across SDLC.
• Proficient in Go or Python for infra-focused code.
• Experience orchestrating multiple AI agents at scale.
• Strong leadership and tech lead capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Scale our in-house CI/CD systems to support faster PR throughput and reliability.
• Reduce tech debt by implementing efficient AI workflows.
• Design and build deployment safeguards that protect production at scale, using AI monitoring and fixes.
• Build observability, evaluation, and feedback systems for AI-driven automation.
• Serve as a thought leader for AI-driven engineering productivity with safety and quality.
• Redefine the outer loop of the SDLC with AI-native workflows for higher throughput and reliability.
• Push AI capabilities forward by turning experiments into scalable platforms used across the company.
• Partner with product engineering teams to reduce toil and promote safe, AI-enabled delivery practices.
