Job summary

Samsara is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II for the Developer Experience team, focused on building an AI-enabled software factory to streamline code from PR to production. You’ll work on autonomous outer-loop pipelines, AI-assisted reviews, and scalable CI/CD systems to improve throughput while maintaining safety and reliability.

This remote-friendly role requires 8+ years in software engineering, a CS degree, and strong experience with AI workflows and.Buildkite or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and building products in a software engineering team.
• 3+ years on developer experience, CI/CD and/or platform engineering-focused teams.
• Experience in building AI workflows, orchestration systems or other harnesses of AI.

Responsibilities

• Help scale our in-house CI/CD systems to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving engineering org.
• Reduce tech debt using efficient AI workflows.
