Job summary

Sysdig is seeking a skilled training engineer to design hands-on labs, automate the training platform, and deliver compelling technical training across containerized environments and cloud services. You will shape learning journeys, author YAML/Markdown content, and mentor junior teammates.

You will collaborate with Product, CS and Marketing to ensure training stays aligned with feature value propositions, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate content creation. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with containers, orchestration (Kubernetes), Linux and cloud services.
• Strong coding in 1–2 languages and ability to author YAML/Markdown content.
• 3+ years of instruction and ability to break down complex concepts for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and build lab scenarios across containers, Kubernetes, Linux and cloud.
• Own automation and reliability of the training platform (Instruqt, LMS).
• Deliver technical training, workshops and demos for diverse audiences.
• Apply instructional design to learning journeys and author courseware in YAML/Markdown.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate labs and content with prudent verification.
• Lead projects from inception to delivery with autonomous decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product, CS and Marketing to keep training aligned to features and values.
• Translate feedback into content improvements and mentor junior team members.
