Pulumi is building Neo, an autonomous infrastructure engineering agent that plans and executes multi-step operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes. We seek bold thinkers to reimagine cloud engineering with agent orchestration, tool interfaces, and a web experience for users to monitor, approve, and understand Neo’s reasoning.

Strong candidates have Python/TypeScript skills, experience with LLMs and multi-step orchestration, and a product mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience building production systems with LLMs, skill design, tool use, and multi-step orchestration.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills with ability to pick up new environments quickly.
• Comfortable across the stack: orchestration, backend services, and frontend interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build planning and execution systems for safe multi-step infra operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and more.
• Design tool interfaces enabling semantic understanding of cloud resources and engineering workflows.
• Develop context systems to learn customer infrastructure patterns and usage.
• Create feedback loops and self-correction for reliable autonomous operation.
• Build evaluation frameworks for migrations, compliance, cost optimization, and diagnostics.
• Work on web interface where Neo acts as a virtual teammate with task assignment and approvals.
• Integrate Neo capabilities into Pulumi MCP Server for agent-to-agent workflows.
• Collaborate with platform teams to integrate capabilities into CLI, SDKs, and Pulumi Cloud.
