Qualifications

• 8+ years in Software Eng, Cloud Eng, SRE or Cloud FinOps
• 2+ years building software tools or AI/ML integrations for cloud resource management
• Strong fundamentals in Python, ReAct, and TypeScript/Node.js
• Experience with LLM APIs, vector databases, and agentic frameworks
• Understanding of AI/ML workload cost drivers
• Experience with FinOps APIs across AWS, GCP, Azure
• IaC tools like Terraform and Pulumi with CI/CD experience
• Proven track record of closed-loop automation in multi-cloud
• Must be local to Bay area onsite

Responsibilities

• Engineer autonomous systems to inspect, govern, and optimize high-cost AI/ML workloads
• Manage GPU cluster provisioning, optimize model batching, track per-token economics
• Write closed-loop software to convert optimization opportunities into savings across clouds
• Build IaC pipelines with Terraform and Pulumi with real-time cost checks
• Train and deploy predictive ML models to analyze usage telemetry and detect spend anomalies
• Lead evolution of FinOps maturity by building telemetry platforms to measure unit economics
• Design internal AI agents that analyze infrastructure state and submit pre-validated PRs
