Workday in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Sr. Business System Analyst to lead a global team and modernize the collaboration tech stack with AI-enabled solutions. You will translate business needs into technical deliverables, while driving automation and end-to-end system enhancements across stakeholders.

The role emphasizes ownership, AI fluency, and the ability to bridge technical execution with executive strategy in a fast-paced environment. Flex work is supported.

Formación

• 8+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience bridging technical engineering teams and business stakeholders to drive solution design, intake management, and system delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage business knowledge to identify process improvements including AI-driven improvements.
• Evaluate opportunities to apply AI/automation to improve processes and system capabilities.
• Work with business partners to understand processes, goals and gaps.
• Drive planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system enhancements.
• Gather requirements, create/groom user stories, and partner with Development/Security/Identity teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Maintain familiarity with other IT systems and define integrations or AI-related intersections.
• Participate in organizational changes and launch support processes.
• Facilitate review sessions with owners, authorities, and end-users.
• Coordinate and perform system testing, support UAT, track issues and secure sign-off.
