Job summary

EY is building a better working world. We seek a Senior Application Designer and Developer to translate business needs into scalable UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.

You’ll design interfaces, write robust code, and contribute to API/microservice patterns while engaging clients in a hybrid delivery model. Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years in Angular/Frontend, strong JavaScript/TypeScript, and hands-on experience with data visualization and AI-enabled products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, no less than 2–4 years relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements; ensure final product meets needs.
• Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications supporting business objectives.
• Travel may be required to meet clients and engage with stakeholders.
