Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to identify user requirements and build UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will create components and services that interact with upstream and downstream systems, ensuring business requirements are met through strong coding.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years of Angular experience, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and a solid background in APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures, with a track record in delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4-year equivalent.
• Typically, 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze client requirements, ensuring final product meets needs.
• Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications supporting business objectives.
• Travel may be required to meet with clients and engage stakeholders.
