Job summary

EY’s Platforms Practice seeks a Senior Application Designer and Developer to craft UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will build software components and services, collaborate with clients, and ensure alignment with business goals through clean, scalable code.

You’ll apply Angular/JS expertise, APIs, and AI-driven approaches, while working in a hybrid client-serving environment with travel as needed. EY offers hybrid work and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2-4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring final product meets needs.
• Design and develop user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications supporting business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients and stakeholders.
