Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to shape innovative UI across platforms. You will translate requirements into robust front-end designs, write clean code, and contribute to APIs and microservices in a hybrid client-facing model.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable digital solutions using Angular, Java, Python, and AI-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes requirements with clients to meet their needs.
• Designs and develops user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablets.
• Writes clean, maintainable code and creates specs supporting business goals.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients and stakeholders.
