Job summary

EY is hiring a Senior Application Designer and Developer to shape UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will translate requirements into technical designs, build reusable components, and collaborate with clients to deliver robust software solutions.

Regular travel may be required to engage with stakeholders. The role emphasizes Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency, API design with Java/Python, and experience with AI, data visualization, and modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Create software components and services that interact with upstream and downstream components.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and ensure the product meets needs.
• Design and develop intuitive, high-quality user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications aligned with business objectives.
