Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum is seeking a Sr. Deployment Manager for the AI & Product Office to bring AI-enabled health products into use, train users, and drive adoption across local markets. You will partner with engineers, product design, deployment, and care teams to ensure products deliver measurable value and scale.

This role supports remote work nationwide, with in-office presence in certain markets. You will lead deployments, training, and change management, building a sustainable playbook

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience deploying technology in healthcare settings.
• Led deployment of a new technology or launch of a new site or market with measurable adoption.
• Designed and delivered training for frontline clinical or operational staff.
• Uses AI tools in work today and has built with them: an agent, automation, or large language model tool.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run deployments into local teams with readiness and go-live support.
• Coordinate releases with engineers to ensure what reaches users is ready and documented.
• Translate design into live deployments with service design principles.
• Develop and execute change management and communications plans for each deployment.
• Partner with finance, technology, data, security, legal, privacy, compliance, care teams, and stakeholders to ensure enterprise-ready deployments.
