Optum, a global health services company, seeks a Sr. Clinical Product Lead, AI & Product Office to shape enterprise AI-enabled health product strategy. Lead design, safety, and adoption with care teams across local markets, ensuring clinical safety and outcomes that matter to patients.

You will work with cross-functional teams across markets, embedding with local market teams to identify problems, design and deploy AI-enabled products, and measure impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with direct patient care experience
• 5+ years leading clinical product, informatics, or health tech alongside product/engineering teams
• Experience in healthcare orgs and complex matrixed structures
• Experience using AI tools in work and building with them (agent/LLM)
• Experience defining clinical requirements or safety criteria and launching
• Ability to operate at enterprise and market levels and distinguish decisions
• Excellent writing; decisions and findings documented in writing
• Ability to build relationships across levels and lead without direct authority
• Experience with AI tools and coding environments (GitHub, AI tooling)
• Senior individual contributor—delivers hard problems end to end

Responsabilités

• Partner with design, product, and clinical teams to define AI-enabled product requirements
• Define safety and evaluation criteria for AI features before patient deployment
• Measure clinical outcomes and ensure products meet safety and usefulness goals
• Collaborate with legal, security, privacy, and compliance to ensure enterprise readiness
