Sitreps 2 Steercos seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for public sector deployments in mission-critical environments. This hands-on role blends software development, customer deployment, AI assurance, and government tech, writing code and building practical deployment architectures at customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer-facing engineering experience in forward deployed, solutions, sales, product, or implementation roles.
• Strong coding skills in Python with TypeScript, Java, Go, or Bash.
• Experience deploying and operating production software across cloud/on-prem/enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML, generative AI, model evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
• Ability to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions and communicate clearly.

Responsabilités

• Develop deep expertise in the AI evaluation, runtime guardrail, and agent governance platform.
• Work with federal customers to translate mission requirements into architectures, integrations, and plans.
• Build tailored demos, prototypes, workflows, and technical collateral for government executives and teams.
• Help customers move from evaluation to working deployments.
• Deploy, integrate, and support the platform across cloud, hybrid, on‑prem, and government networks.
• Write code, troubleshoot issues, and resolve deployment challenges with cross‑functional teams.
• Share field insights to inform product, roadmap, and deployment strategy.
