Job summary

Maven AGI is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own post-sale technical implementation for strategic enterprise customers. You will work directly with customer teams to turn ambiguous support workflows into production AI systems: scoping requirements, building integrations, configuring Maven, debugging edge cases, validating quality, launching safely, and iterating from real-world usage.

This role requires hands-on coding, API work, log analysis, and practical tradeoffs under delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering or equivalent customer-facing delivery roles.
• Hands-on coding in JavaScript/Node.js; TypeScript/React/Next.js plus Python are a plus.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, auth, data mapping and debugging.
• Proven ability to take complex customer projects from ambiguous requirements to production.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own post-sale implementation workstreams from kickoff through production launch.
• Translate complex customer workflows into concrete technical plans and milestones.
• Build and debug integrations across CRMs, ticketing, CCaaS, knowledge bases, data warehouses, and APIs.
• Configure and extend Maven using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, and webhooks.
• Prototype quickly when requirements are unclear and convert into reliable production code.
• Design and run quality checks for AI behavior, retrieval, and escalation.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to address platform gaps and reusable patterns.
• Communicate clearly with customers, operators, and internal teams throughout deployment.
