Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior AI Deployment Engineer to lead the architectural design and delivery of AI solutions for our global customers. You will manage data flows, integrations, and security across Native AI Agents, the Workday Agent Platform, external LLMs, and Sana.

You will guide technical workstreams, advise senior stakeholders, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to scale Workday AI deployments while upholding ethical AI principles.

Qualifications

• Senior level requires 5+ years in enterprise software implementation, architecture, and consulting.
• Senior level requires 1+ years hands-on enterprise AI/ML deployments (LLM-based solutions, RAG, or AI-driven workflows).
• Principal level requires 8+ years in enterprise software implementation, architecture, and consulting.
• Principal level requires 2+ years hands-on enterprise AI/ML deployments (LLM-based solutions, RAG, or AI-driven workflows).

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end AI solutions across the Workday ecosystem, including data flows, integrations, and security controls.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-suite and senior leaders, translating architecture choices into business value and risk considerations.
• Lead technical delivery for AI workstreams, overseeing configuration, integrations, data prep, privacy, and model tuning.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to share real-world insights from deployments to evolve the Agent Platform and Sana integration capabilities.
• Design and validate patterns for Workday AI interactions with third-party systems and external LLMs, ensuring data integrity and privacy.
