Job summary

Battelle Energy Alliance seeks a senior data/AI systems engineer to design and enhance the DeepLynx data management ecosystem. You will architect data frameworks, digital twins, and AI workflows to support INL program goals and national nuclear energy research.

You will apply full-stack skills across web, desktop, embedded, and hosted platforms, using C#/C/C++, Rust, Python, and TypeScript with CI/CD and cloud/on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Data Science/Data Engineering/Math/Stats or related field with required experience.
• Hands-on experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in C# and Python.
• 5+ years (Level 3) or 9+ years (Level 4) of relevant experience depending on degree.
• Willingness to obtain cloud certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve the DeepLynx data management and AI ecosystem and its frameworks.
• Architect digital systems to make data AI-ready and trustworthy.
• Build agentic AI workflows within DeepLynx and related apps.
• Apply full-stack development across web, desktop, embedded, and hosted platforms.
• Implement DevOps practices for CI/CD, containers, and cloud/on-prem deployments.
