Job summary

PowerToFly seeks an experienced AI and Data Solution Architect to shape enterprise architecture and design secure, scalable data platforms and AI-driven analytics for capital markets and financial services.

You will translate complex business challenges into innovative technology solutions, develop roadmaps, and lead data pipelines using Python/PySpark across cloud-native environments. You’ll mentor teams and drive architectural governance across transformation programs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT architecture, systems design or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years with distributed data platforms in Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera, HDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, MongoDB).
• Experience delivering AI/data architecture in Financial Services (Capital Markets, Fraud, Risk, Regulatory).
• Strong Python and PySpark skills, with modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Medallion, Kafka, Data Mesh).
• Hands-on with Generative AI solutions: RAG pipelines, LLMs, multi-agent workflows, vector databases.
• CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes; ability to manage multiple streams and meet deadlines.

• Shape enterprise architecture strategies for complex technology programs.
• Design secure, scalable data platforms and AI-driven analytics in financial services.
• Translate business challenges into innovative tech solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Develop roadmaps evaluating emerging tech, platforms, infra and AI capabilities.
• Architect data pipelines and ETL with Python and PySpark across domains.
• Design distributed data processing with Hadoop/Cloudera, NoSQL and cloud-native stacks.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools and container orchestration to accelerate delivery.
• Mentor development teams and govern architecture/best practices across programs.
