Job summary

You’ll work with three engineers to build scalable systems, emphasize data lineage and access controls, and leverage Snowflake and vector databases while applying cloud and IaC best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior‑level engineering experience and ownership of end‑to‑end problems.
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems with emphasis on consistency, availability, and performance.
• Hands‑on in secure API integrations and modern auth patterns (OAuth 2.0, SSO).
• Real AI fluency and experience using AI-assisted coding tools.
• Familiarity with data platforms beyond relational databases (Snowflake, vector DBs).
• Knowledge of data lineage, access control, and data quality practices.
• Collaborative, no‑ego approach with strong teamwork.
• Cloud engineering fundamentals (AWS) and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform).
• Production quality Python coding.

Responsibilities

• Build secure MCPs and API integrations linking Ridgeline’s data sources to business capabilities.
• Help own data architecture, storage, persistence, and connections as part of Ridgeline’s data strategy.
• Contribute to AI platform components like RAG pipelines and vector databases to stay ahead.
• Mentor peers and raise technical standards as the team scales.
