Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a senior technical leader to scale software, data, AI, and automation across Digital Operations. You will drive architecture, prototyping, and delivery while mentoring engineers and guiding partner teams.

You will influence design decisions, champion reusable APIs and data products, and ensure governance, security, and reliability in production systems. Seattle-based role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, cloud services, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, analytics, experimentation, measurement, or ML/AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, architecture, prototyping, and delivery for software, data, ML, and AI solutions.
• Build production-quality services, APIs, data pipelines, and AI-enabled applications.
• Design and implement LLM-enabled capabilities, including retrieval-augmented generation and agent workflows.
• Connect marketing technologies, data platforms, analytics systems, and AI services into end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor engineers and drive adoption of reusable APIs, data products, and AI capabilities.
