Job summary
Ridgeline is seeking a Senior Staff AI Infrastructure Engineer in the United States (San Ramon, CA or Reno, NV). You will build the platform powering AI-driven decisions, design secure MCPs and API integrations, and advance the AI platform with MCPs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
You’ll mentor peers and help set high technical standards in a fast-moving, collaborative team. You will work in a hands-on role with ownership of critical data plumbing, security considerations, and modern data
Qualifications
- 10+ years of senior-level engineering experience.
- Experience designing and scaling distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience building secure API integrations, MCPs and related security patterns.
- Real AI fluency and hands-on AI tooling experience.
- Cloud engineering fundamentals (AWS) and IaC (Terraform).
- Production-quality coding in Python or similar language.
Responsibilities
- Build secure MCPs and API integrations connecting Ridgeline's data sources to business capabilities.
- Own architecture behind secure integrations and AI platform components.
- Contribute to MCPs, RAG pipelines, and vector database implementations.
- Mentor peers and raise technical standards as the team scales.
