Job summary

TIAA is hiring a data governance leader to design and implement governance frameworks across regulated domains. The role requires driving data standards and master data quality, coordinating with risk, legal, and compliance, and delivering KPI-focused dashboards.

You will lead pilots, document SOPs, and translate requirements for technical teams to automate workflows. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in governance are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing or redesigning multi-stakeholder governance frameworks in a regulated industry.
• Structured sessions with 4+ control/compliance functions to align on framework.
• Piloting a process or framework change with before/after metrics.
• Knowledge of model risk concepts (tiering, materiality, validation) at a conceptual level.
• Produce auditable SOPs and functional requirements documents used by technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads the implementation of tools and processes to maintain firm-wide data standards.
• Strengthens data governance to ensure high data quality across the data lifecycle.
• Ensures master data governance and data quality through coordination and integration.
• Oversees reports and dashboards to identify key metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
• Monitors data quality metrics and advises on process improvements for master data.
