Job summary

Appnovation is seeking a Senior Data Engineer, AI & Agents, to prepare enterprise data for AI agents and govern data assets on the enterprise platform. You will work across Databricks and Snowflake, converting source tables to open formats and building domain-grounded data agents.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to iterate, test, and validate data solutions, applying strong governance, masking, and access controls in regulated domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Experience with Databricks and Snowflake is preferred.
• Experience building data agents or interfaces over governed datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and register domain data agents at scale using Databricks and Snowflake.
• Perform lakehouse migrations and format conversions (e.g., Iceberg) for agent access.
• Generate catalogue metadata to support automation and data‑contract workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders through iterative build, test, and validation cycles.
