Job summary

IFS is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI systems powering intelligent agents and autonomous workflows. You will blend software engineering with advanced AI/ML to build production-grade solutions on LLMs, embeddings, and cloud platforms.

Collaborate across engineering, product, and domain experts to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will ensure reliability, observability, and security while promoting engineering best practices and knowledge

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, incl 2+ years building AI/ML in production.
• Strong Python skills with backend/API design experience.
• Experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, RAG architectures, vector stores.
• Hands-on with OpenAI, Azure AI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Pinecone, Weaviate.
• Solid cloud-native architecture, microservices, scalable system design.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI services and platform capabilities for enterprise workflows.
• Build reusable SDKs, APIs, orchestration layers, and shared services.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and design reviews.
• Deliver reliable, observable, secure, and scalable AI systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to translate requirements.
