Ladders is seeking a Senior AI Data & Analytics Engineer II to shape the data and AI foundation powering marketing analytics, self-serve insights, and scalable decision-making across the organization.

You will architect core data models, strengthen the analytics stack, and translate ambiguous questions into reliable, actionable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to improve data integrity and automate workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data or AI engineering with hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with data warehouses/lakehouses and ETL/ELT processes.
• Ability to design semantic layers and documentation for AI workflows.
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools and ownership of AI outputs.
• Proven track record leading cross-team data initiatives with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting Marketing, Sales, or Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for the data and AI foundation.
• Architect and manage the marketing data infrastructure, including ETL/ELT pipelines and core data models.
• Design semantic layers and structured documentation for self-serve BI and analytics, ensuring data integrity.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into clear requirements and scalable solutions while working autonomously.
• Lead cross-team initiatives, managing risks and ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Serve as a senior technical lead, mentoring engineers and analysts while raising engineering quality standards.
• Drive strategic AI use to solve high-impact problems and automate workflows across teams.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Data & Analytics Engineer II to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will shape the data and AI foundation that powers marketing analytics, self-serve insights, and scalable decision-making across the organization. You will architect core data models, strengthen the analytics stack, and help teams turn ambiguous questions into reliable, actionable solutions. In addition, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve data integrity, automate workflows, and raise the overall quality of engineering output.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation: $137,445 – $231,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for the data and AI foundation
• Architect and manage the marketing data infrastructure, including ETL/ELT pipelines and core data models
• Design semantic layers and structured documentation for self-serve BI and analytics, ensuring data integrity

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or AI engineering with hands-on data engineering expertise
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong data modeling and DBT experience
• Deep knowledge of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT, and the modern data stack, including Databricks or similar
• Experience building semantic layers and structured documentation for AI workflows
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools and ownership of AI-generated outputs
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team data initiatives with diverse stakeholders
• Experience supporting Marketing, Sales, or Product teams
