Job summary

Oracle's Hardware Repair Center in the United States is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineer to diagnose, test, repair, and validate next-generation AI compute hardware, focusing on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs to return equipment to production quickly.

You will collaborate with Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Global Product Engineering, perform advanced failure analysis, and contribute to repair procedures, with occasional on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing AI compute hardware.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA and AMD GPUs used in AI platforms.
• Experience with functional validation and test procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hardware repair environment.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and validate NVIDIA, AMD, and future-generation AI compute hardware including Compute Trays (CTs).
• Perform functional validation using CDU test infrastructure to ensure repaired hardware meets quality standards before production.
• Lead root-cause analysis and engineering observations to improve reliability and repair effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Global Product Engineering to address systemic hardware issues and corrective actions.
• Serve as the technical resource during coolant leak events and support containment and documentation.
• Develop repair procedures, validation processes, and standards for next-generation AI platforms.
• Provide technical support via the Global Operations Technical Support queue for complex hardware issues.
