Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an AI Coding Tools Engineer (GenAI & Agentic Systems) to evaluate, pilot, operationalize, and scale secure AI coding assistant tools across the enterprise. This role partners with Security, Training, and Enablement teams to ensure governance and adoption.

The candidate will integrate assistants into IDEs (VS Code), CLI workflows, and source control, while aligning with enterprise guardrails and NIST requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Cline).
• 3–5 years in software/DevOps related roles; 2+ years in AI product/automation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and pilot enterprise AI coding assistants including features, security and integration complexity.
• Integrate coding assistants into IDEs, terminals, and source control workflows; configure guardrails per enterprise/NIST.
• Prepare ATO evidence with security teams; update SSPs and risk registers; maintain monitoring artifacts.
• Develop training and end-user guides with enablement teams; support office hours to accelerate adoption.
