Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc seeks a Senior .NET Engineer to build production agentic systems using an AI-native workflow. You will create AI agents, tools, system prompts, and structured JSON output parsers, with secure MCP integration and robust observability.

You will evaluate agentic performance, improve RAG quality, and codify reusable agents, prompts, and workflows. Daily work includes coding agents with Copilot/Claude Code, peer reviews, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production .NET (C#) development
• 1+ year building LLM integrations and multi-agent workflows
• Experience with MCP servers and ASP.NET Core
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and structured logging

Responsibilities

• Agent and Tool Development: Build, test, and maintain scoped AI agents and custom tools
• MCP and API Engineering: Implement read-only data access tools and secure access patterns
• Observability & Health: Implement /health and /ready probes, JSON logging, and tracing
• Evaluations: Test agentic performance, improve RAG quality, and use golden datasets
• AI-native delivery: Use coding agents and spec-driven development; review generated code for security and maintainability
• Collaborative Development: Participate in peer code reviews and share AI-engineering practices
