Job summary

G2i seeks a senior-level software engineer evaluator to assess AI-assisted coding interactions. You will judge whether responses reflect strong engineering judgment and offer actionable feedback without writing production code.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with modern coding agents and excellent written and spoken English. This is a remote, part-time contract role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal‑level engineer or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, correctness at a high level, and engineering judgment.
• Assess explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Distinguish levels of response quality (2 vs 4).
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback in writing and via video.
• Help define what great looks like when using coding tools.
