Job summary

G2i Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Training to evaluate AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code. This role focuses on assessing whether outputs are useful, well-reasoned, and aligned with high engineering standards, not traditional production coding.

You will work remotely, worldwide, with 10–20 hours per week, and compensation ranges from $100 to $200 per hour depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Senior/Staff/Principal level engineering experience.
• Strong written and spoken English (B2+).
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness and accuracy at a high level.
• Assess explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback in writing.
• Help define great practices with tools like Cursor, Codex and Claude Code.
